Ayurveda Cleanse Day 11

If it seems like I can eat a lot, that is because you are right!

I have always been noticed for the massive amounts of food that I can ingest: my soccer team called me the walking garbage disposal. I regularly cleaned other people's plates for them. I was given a joke award at prom for "biggest appetite."

I used to get indigestion. I wonder why?

Anyhow, when I started practicing yoga, I realized it wasn't so funny to be eating a lot all the time. So I started putting parameters on it.

Nowadays, I consume one meal a day and then add yummy frothy things at breakfast and dinner.

I wholeheartedly believe that controlling portions is important. I also do notice over the course of the past several days that eating almost exclusively vegan (except ghee) also does allow for me to have larger portions and not feel lethargic in the afternoon.

Lunch:

1) Salad with cucumber, lettuce, pineapple and orange

2) Baked Butternut and acorn squash

3) Sautéed Kale and onion

Dessert:

1) Chocolate fudge with figs: The fudge has cocoa, a little coconut milk, honey, salt and almond paste

2) Almond Milk Chai
