Elemental Yoga 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program 2017

With great joy, humility, gratitude and love, we present Elemental Yoga’s 2017 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. In this program you will receive expert guidance in how to teach, how to live and how to navigate Yoga as a Whole Life Practice.  This training program is the culmination all of our love, all of our dedication and all of the teachings of Yoga that we practice and live by at Elemental Yoga.

At Elemental Yoga, we are committed to the spiritual evolution and unfoldment of every student that walks through our doors. We consider it a high honor to teach and share the wisdom of Yoga. This training program is a sacred expression of what it means to live and to share the practices of Yoga. It is open to any student who sincerely wishes to make a better life for themselves.

The practice of Yoga not only renders one to be more effective in movement, it goes through the backdoor of the mind creating silent transformation in the body, nervous system and thoughts. Through the consistent practice of Yoga, one becomes a “social activist” for their own improved life. In this program, you will receive the teachings of Yoga in a holistic fashion in which you will be given tools to examine and make changes in your body, your mood, your thoughts and your relationships, both to yourself and to others.

We comprehensively cover the practices of Classical Ashtanga Yoga as inspired by Baba Hari Dass of the Mount Madonna Center including asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudra and shat karma. We teach the subtle body and how to integrate and experience its various components across these yoga practices.

We study and practice asana to the degree that every student in the training is confident practicing the poses correctly and leading their future students with ease. You will learn a set of thirty core postures that includes the alignment, anatomy, benefits, contraindications, sequencing and cueing for each pose. These thirty poses are a bridge to all Yoga poses: as you understand the basic principles of anatomy and alignment for one foundational pose, you will become confident in how to teach exponentially those poses that stem from its roots.

We study the Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita in depth using commentary from Yoganada, Baba Hari Dass and Ecknath Easwaran.  Great teachers and leaders from all fields such as Mohandas Gandhi, T.S. Eliot, Krishnamurti, Thoreau, Rudolf Steiner, Carl Jung and countless more have drawn from the endless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita. You will learn about the integration of yoga philosophy with modern psychology and quantum physics breakthroughs.

We take pride in the teachers that we produce in the Elemental Yoga Teacher Training Program. Not only will your experience will be filled with elevated teachings,  you will be given the space, tools and opportunity to consistently integrate and teach every aspect of what you are learning. Your experience will be personally transformative, practical and comprehensive.  Call or email us now for more information. Call 817-476-0632 or email Brynn at  brynn@elementalyogatherapy.com.
